4th of July

Happy 4th of July! As the Swiss aren't too big on celebrating America's independence, we were a little worried we wouldn't be able to find fireworks. Luckily, on the night of the 4th our local store started stocking its shelves with fireworks for August 1st, Swiss National Day. We climbed a local hill, lit sparklers, and celebrated "the flag's birthday". We can sort out which flag in a couple of years.

I love it! I don't think I've ever loved America more than when I was abroad on the 4th. I'm sure you have a love for both countries (no doubt)

And that Spanish Semester video? I'm STILL laughing! That is hilarious. We had to watch it twice...and seriously, those are the EXACT phrases from the Chick fil A CD!

Wow! You have been busy posting all those pictures! It looks like you had a great 4th there. It's so much fun going from my blog, to your blog, to Evelyn's blog....

Reading your blog really makes me wish we had a reason to go to Europe right now!! Your children are adorable and I hope you tell them all about your "firstborn."
